Oroville, Ca— At approximately 9:00 AM on October 5, 2017, Butte County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) received a call from a citizen reporting suspicious circumstances in the area of Crystal Pines Road in Oroville.
Deputies arrived on scene and located a deceased male. Due to the suspicious nature of the death, BCSO detectives have launched an investigation into the incident.
The investigation is in the very early stages, and limited information is available at this time. More information will be released as it becomes available.
