Face Covering Guidelines and Requirements:
In California, masks are no longer required to be worn in most settings. Masks are strongly recommended in indoor public places for everyone, regardless of vaccination status.
Masks are still required to be worn by EVERYONE in high risk settings, including:
- Hospitals and other healthcare settings
- Emergency shelters
- Homeless shelters
- Long term care settings
- Jails and prisons

If you have tested positive for COVID-19, self-isolate at home and follow the CDPH Guidance on Isolation and Quarantine for COVID-19.
