Our Public Health Nursing Division administers a variety of programs related to Maternal and Child Health. The programs consist of the following:

Butte/Glenn County
Child Death Review 2010-2015 Report
CCS provides case management and physical and occupational therapy to children 0-21 years of age with CCS medically eligible conditions.
The Child Health & Disability Prevention program (CHDP) provides physical exams for babies, children, teens and young adults.
The Butte County Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (CLPPP) conducts outreach and education about lead poisoning and provides nurse case management in the event of a lead poisoned child.
The Maternal Child Adolescent Health Program (MCAH) goal is to help protect and improve the health of Butte County's reproductive age women, infants, children, adolescents and their families.
The SIDS/SUID Support information will help you keep your baby safe from suffocation, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and accidents during sleep.
