Butte Operational Area-Emergency Operations Plan
The Butte County Emergency Operations Plan (BCEOP) addresses the County planned response to extraordinary emergency situations associated with natural disasters, technological incidents and national security emergencies in or affecting the Butte County Operational Area which includes the unincorporated areas of the County of Butte and the incorporated areas of the Cities of Chico, Oroville, Gridley, Biggs and the Town of Paradise. This plan does not apply to normal day-to-day emergencies or the established departmental procedures used to cope with such emergencies. Rather, this plan focuses on operational concepts and would be implemented relative to large-scale disasters which can pose major threats to life, property and the environment requiring unusual emergency responses.
