Butte County Fire Department is the largest fire department north of Sacramento, California to Eugene, Oregon. We are a combination of career and citizen volunteer firefighters.

Our Mission: "To provide professional services to protect lives, property, and environment to those residing, working or traveling with in the unincorporated areas of Butte County, the cities of Biggs and Gridley and the Town of Paradise."

Station 51 2845 Lumpkin Road, Feather Falls

Station 54 10 Robinson Mill Road, Oroville

Station 55 7540 Oro-Bangor Hwy, Bangor

Station 62 2 Berry Creek Road, Berry Creek

 

Station 51 is located in Feather Falls, it is a one engine station located on Lumpkin Road near the old “town” site.  The station is staffed during the summer preparedness period with two Fire Captains and 8 Fire Fighters.

Station 54 is located in Robinson Mill.  It is a two engine station located on Robinson Mill Road and Forbestown Road. This station is staffed year round with two Fire Captains, two Fire Apparatus Engineers and 10 Fire- fighters during the summer preparedness period.

Station 55 is located in Bangor at Oro Bangor Highway near La Porte road.  It is staffed year round with a Fire Captain, Fire Apparatus Engineer, and two Fire Fighters –II.  This station is a combination paid/volunteer facility with the Engine staffed by paid and a Water Tender and Rescue Squad staffed by the Bangor Volunteer  Fire Company.

Station 62 is located in Harts Mill, it’s a one engine station located on Oro-Quincy Hwy and Berry Creek Road. Staffed year round with two fire Captains and 8 Fire Fighters during the summer preparedness period. This station is supported by the Butte County Berry Creek Volunteer Company who staff equipment at Station 60 and Station 61.
