Please note, our usual walk-in screenings are not being offered at this time due to prevention guidance released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention relating to the Coronavirus. We will be providing screening and assessment over the phone.

Getting Started with non-Crisis Services
Step 1
Call our office at 530.891.2810. During the phone conversation, we will ask you whether your needs are urgent and what type of help you are looking for. We will also ask you if you have Medi-Cal or some other type of insurance coverage. We will help you find the services you need in our community or refer you for a screening appointment. A counselor will provide an assessment over the phone, as our clinics are currently closed. Please have your Medi-Cal card and other insurance information available for reference during the phone call.
Step 2
Once we have determined how we can best serve you, we will schedule a follow-up appointment to better understand your specific needs.
Step 3
At your follow-up appointment, we will connect you or your family member to the types of services that you and your counselor agree will help most. A wide range of services is available, from short-term to intensive, based on your needs. These time-limited services are designed to foster resiliency in youth and families and to promote wellness.
