Butte County Library's REACH Program is coming to support your needs as a jobseeker, a small business owner, and an entrepreneur.

REACH (Reconnect, Engage, Adults, Creating, Hope) program provides economic and workforce development resources at your local Butte County Library!

Bring your goals and aspirations to your library! REACH will assist in finding a dream job, training for a new career, gaining new skills, getting started with the idea of being your own boss and expanding your small business.

Schedule a one-on-one consulting session with library staff to start exploring, offered free.

What help is available:

  • Resume Assistance, Mock Interviews, Job Application Assistance, Career Exploration/Transitions
  • One-on-One Business Counseling, Referrals, Classes, Webinars, Workshops delivered by subject matter experts
  • Collaborative Workspaces with Technology and Productivity Tools, and Specialized Collections
  • E-learning Platforms like Udemy, Coursera and much more

Volunteer Opportunities Available!

Volunteers needed for exciting social and economic recovery project at your Butte County Library!

The Butte County Library REACH Project will create accessible resources for workforce development and business start up assistance for Butte County residents, especially those who have been affected by disasters. This project will provide services and content relevant in building confidence, learning resources and knowledge for those who are seeking employment or have a business idea or existing business and need more assistance to achieve their goals.

We are looking for Job Center Coaches who will help individuals looking for jobs use technology and resources available through the library to develop tools and information needed for job searching.
