BUTTE COUNTY ANNOUNCES FACEBOOK LIVE DISCUSSION ON WEED ABATEMENT ENHANCEMENT

Butte County, Calif.— Butte County will host a Facebook Live presentation and discussion with Butte County Fire Chief David Hawks and Butte County District 5 Supervisor Doug Teeter regarding a possible amendment that would enhance the Butte County Weed Abatement Ordinance. The Weed Abatement Ordinance outlines, among other things, the vegetation management responsibilities for residents of wildfire-prone areas.

The Facebook Live presentation and discussion will take place on the Butte County Facebook page located at www.Facebook.com/ButteCounty on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at 2:00pm. Butte County residents are encouraged to watch the Facebook Live presentation and join in the question and answer discussion immediately following the presentation. Questions will be answered in the order they are received.
