Butte County Fire Department.

Station 41 is in the Northern area of Chico and is home to Engine 41 and CAL FIRE Dozer Transport 2142. Nord station is equipped with an automotive shop. When an HFEO is available, they assist with repair and maintenance of fire equipment. Station 41 is administratively responsible for Volunteer Company 42 which is located a little more centrally in North Chico. Volunteer company 42 shared the same location that was previously Station 42, a career staffed station. Engine 42 responded to 1,162 emergency incidents in 2017 prior to closing July 1st, due to budgetary constraints. Engine 41 responded to 812 emergency incidents in 2017.
