Need to Get Rid of Hazardous Waste Around Your House?
Take it to the Butte Regional Household Hazardous Waste Facility in Chico and the Recology facility in Oroville. The Chico facility is free to all households in Butte County. The Recology facility is for the City of Oroville residents and Recology customers. Please bring a utility bill to verify residence (cable, Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E), trash service, etc.).
Quantities are generally limited to 5 gallons or 50 pounds of material. If the material is not in the original container, it is recommended that you label the contents.

Butte County Regional HHW Facility: Directions / Map to the Facility
From Chico, take Cohasset Road north to Airpark Boulevard Left on Airpark and an immediate right on Marauder Street. The facility is 1/4 mile down on the left.
