Citizens Assisting Probation Services (CAPS)

It is the mission of Butte County Probation to work collectively with citizens and other agencies to ensure safety in the community and to provide professional service to probationers and victims of violent crime. Volunteering at Juvenile Hall is one opportunity community members have to join in this mission.

After a background investigation and an interview is conducted, applicants will be evaluated and, if acceptable, will be considered for volunteer placement.

To begin, contact Butte County Probation at 530-538-7661.
