Book sales are held the 1st Saturday of every month (except for January, May, and September - call the library at 530-552-5652 for current information), from 10 am to 2 pm in the Oroville Branch Library community meeting room.

Joining the Friends
It's easy to join the Friends, just inquire at the circulation desk. The Friends use your dues to donate a minimum of $500 per month to the Oroville library to purchase new books. As a member, you are invited to all meetings.

Financing the Future
A donation can be made to Friends of the Library in Oroville through a bequest in your Will or Trust. Speak to your lawyer and find out how easy it is to include such a bequest. You may make designation for your gift, such as, to purchase books or equipment or, if a very generous donation, that only the interest be used for purchases or other uses while the principal is invested to grow for the future.
Ongoing book sale during the library open hours. Quality books, bargain prices! Friends Merchandise can be purchased at the circulation desk. Donations of quality, clean books can be made at the library during open hours.
