Annual Exams
Having a yearly gynecological exam is an important aspect of responsible preventive health care and ensuring your physical and reproductive well-being. Women should have a gynecological exam every year whether or not they are due for a Pap smear.
Visit the Annual Exams page for more information.
Breast & Cervical Cancer Screening
Our Public Health Clinics are a provider of Every Women Counts (EWC), a state-sponsored program that provides free clinical breast exams, mammograms, pelvic exams, and Pap tests to California's underserved women.
Visit the Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening page for more information.
Birth Control Resources
It is important to find the birth control method that best fits your individual needs. Understanding your options will help you to have an informed conversation with your healthcare provider about choosing the best birth control method for you.
Visit the Birth Control Resources page for more information.
Emergency Contraceptives
Emergency contraception, or emergency birth control, is used to help keep a woman from getting pregnant after she has had sex without using birth control or if the birth control method failed.
Visit the Emergency Contraceptives page for more information.
Pregnancy Testing
Whether you are trying to get pregnant or are concerned about an unplanned pregnancy, a pregnancy test is an important tool. Knowing you are pregnant as soon as possible can help you make the decisions that are right for you.
