Fire PALS is an acronym that stands for “Prevention and Life Safety". It utilizes characterization, skits, and music to introduce and reinforce safety messages on a variety of topics. The program is presented in a vibrant assembly venue format utilizing music, comedy, and characterization to introduce and reinforce life and fire safety messages in a manner that is designed to increase retention and effect behavior changes.
Area life and fire safety agencies such as Oroville Fire Department, Paradise Fire Department, the Butte County Sheriff’s Department, US Forest Service, and CAL FIRE/Butte County Fire Department make up the North Valley Fire PALS educational troupe. We do this because we strongly feel that the worst accident is the one that could have been prevented.
If you would like more information or interested in having Fire PALS come to your school please contact CAL Fire/Butte County Fire Prevention at 530-538-7888.
