Battalion 6 covers the area surrounding the city of Oroville from Lake Oroville in the east, to Palermo in the south, to the Thermalito Afterbay in the west, up and over Table Mountain to Cherokee in the north.
Station 63 is housed at our Unit Headquarters in Oroville. During peak summer staffing, it is home to one county-funded Type I engine, two state-funded Type III engines, and a dozer.
Station 64 covers the Kelly Ridge area on and around Lake Oroville and is the base of operations for the Butte Interagency Hazardous Materials Team.
Station 72 is responsible for a large area of Butte County south of Oroville to the Yuba County line.
