Butte County Surplus 2023 Calendar

Sales and Non-Profit Days are advertised in local papers and on Craigslist.org. Common items are desks, file cabinets, bookcases, white/cork boards, chairs, office equipment, and accessories. Some house furniture, lamps, books, movies, and artwork. 

How to pay? We accept cash and personal checks. Sorry, no credit or debit cards accepted.

2023 Surplus Sale Dates

Surplus sales are back!

Please join us on the first Friday every other month from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm.

  • August 4th
  • October 6th
  • December 1st

2023 Non-Profit Days

Non-Profit organizations looking to obtain County surplus items should contact Brad Miles or Jordan Diller to schedule a time to view and pick up surplus items.

Note: Non-Profit affirms that organization is a public agency or non-profit as identified under section 501 of the Internal Revenue Code (26 USC. 501). Further, we accept the donation(s) listed under the following conditions from Butte County:

  • Donations are first come first served.
  • All donations are in "As Is" condition.
  • Non-Profit is responsible for transportation of the donated items to their organization.
  • Non-Profits shall provide a proof of 501(c)(3) status prior to or at the time of pick up.

Butte County Auctions-Capital Assets & Bulk Surplus Sales

All Capital Assets and other bulk surplus are sold to the highest bidder by way of online public auction throughout the year.
