Sierra Nevada Energy Watch
The Sierra Nevada Energy Watch program expands energy efficiency and renewable energy use in the Sierra, empowering local action, eliminating barriers to a clean energy future, establishing climate resiliency, and saving communities money. SNEW serves Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, El Dorado, Lassen, Mariposa, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sierra, Sutter, Tuolumne, and Yuba counties. View a map of the service territory.
The SNEW team works closely with local governments, school districts, public agencies, and small businesses, helping them achieve their energy goals wherever they are on their path to sustainability. Our team offers services that range from conducting energy use analysis and audits, helping link to resources, providing project management support, and finding funding and financing solutions. We also conduct greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories, develop and implement emissions reduction plans, and execute energy projects that make communities more resilient, efficient, and vibrant.

Sierra Business Council offers energy efficiency solutions to provide economic, environmental, and social benefits to the Sierra Nevada through our Sierra Nevada Energy Watch program.
