Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program

Butte County's Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program provides no interest, deferred payment loans to help low income homeowners fix and repair their homes. Eligibility is based on total household income and must be 80% or less than the area median income for Butte County.  All homes receiving assistance must be owner-occupied. Eligible repairs include health and safety repairs, weatherization and energy conservation repairs, and accessibility modifications. This program is funded through the Home Investment Partnerships Program (HOME).

CalHome Butte County Wildfire Housing Reconstruction Program 

Butte County has State CalHome Funding to assist North Complex Fire, Cherokee, LaPorte, and Camp Fire Survivors to reconstruct or rehabilitate their homes destroyed or damaged in the wildfires. Limited funding is available for Accessory Dwelling Units and Junior Accessory Dwelling Units. Households must have a combined income of 120% or less of the Area Median Income (AMI). All homes receiving assistance must be owner-occupied. Homeowners that were uninsured at the time of the wildfire are encouraged to apply.
