AlertFM

The Alert FM system is an emergency alert and messaging system that utilizes FM radio frequencies to deliver critical information during disasters and emergencies. The system is designed to provide accurate and timely information to the public through specially equipped FM radio receivers, such as those found in many smartphones, and other compatible devices. The Alert FM system is capable of delivering a range of alerts, including severe weather warnings, natural disasters, AMBER alerts, and other emergency notifications.

BCCERT

The Butte County Community Emergency Response Team (BCCERT) is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization, that falls under the BCSO umbrella. The BCCERT organization enhances the BCSO mission by providing services to the citizens of Butte County during emergencies. BCCERT volunteers attend events and take the opportunity to educate the public regarding emergency preparedness.  BCCERT volunteers assist in emergency related logistics such as delivering necessities to citizens, manning call centers, and assisting with the emergency notification system as well as GMRS (General Mobile Radio Service) transmissions.
