Medical Therapy Unit (MTU)

The CCS MTP provides medically necessary physical and occupational therapy services as well as medical therapy conference services to children and young adults under age 21 with CCS MTP eligible conditions.  The CCS MTP is administered as a partnership between county health departments and the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), in collaboration with local education partners.  Most services are rendered within a Medical Therapy Unit (MTU) within a public-school site, per CCR Title 22.

Butte County has two MTU locations:
