    Troy is a proud Butte County resident having lived in the County since 1998. He was drawn back to the area as an ideal setting to raise a family after graduating from California State University, Chico in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Political Science.

    Troy has always had an intense interest in the Financial industries. He began working in banking in 1989 and has held several high level positions including area management as well as specializing in Government banking for over 10 years.

    Troy resides in Chico and is an active member of the Community. A father himself, Troy is committed to our youth and has served on the Governing Board of Directors for the Boy's and Girl's Club of the North Valley since 2008. He has been an active member of Chico Rotary since 2008 and also served as President of Chico Eastside Little League.

    As the elected Treasurer-Tax Collector, Troy is responsible for managing the Treasury's $1.4 billion pooled investment portfolio and oversees the department's three divisions - Treasury, Property Tax and Central Collections. Additionally, Troy serves on a number of Butte County committees including the 457 Deferred Compensation Committee, Audit Committee, Finance Committee, and the Land Use Coordinating Committee.
