Nursing Programs

Our Public Health Nursing Division works with the Butte County Department of Employment and Social Services to provide nursing case management services in several of their programs. Additional information regarding the following programs can be found on their respective pages:

Options for Recovery

The Options for Recovery (OFR) Program is a program that recruits and trains foster parents and relative caregivers in Butte and Glenn Counties to care for children aged 0 to 60 months who are alcohol/drug exposed and/or HIV positive.

Children in Foster Care

Public Health Nurses in Foster Care Services work with social workers in the Children Services Division to provide medical case management for children who are in foster care placement.
