Our Public Health Nursing Division administers a variety of programs related to Maternal and Child Health. The programs consist of the following:

California Children's Services (CCS)

CCS provides case management and physical and occupational therapy to children 0 to 21 years of age with CCS medically eligible conditions.

Child Health & Disability Prevention (CHDP)

The Child Health and Disability Prevention program (CHDP) provides physical exams for babies, children, teens, and young adults.

Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (CLPPP)

The Butte County Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (CLPPP) conducts outreach and education about lead poisoning and provides nurse case management in the event of a lead-poisoned child.

The Maternal Child Adolescent Health Program (MCAH) goal is to help protect and improve the health of Butte County's reproductive-age women, infants, children, adolescents, and their families.

The SIDS/SUID Support information will help you keep your baby safe from suffocation, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), and accidents during sleep.
