Quarter
One (Jan-Mar) WAC will do final review
and compilation of BMO package to be submitted to the Board of Supervisors.
Quarter
Two (Apr-Jun) TAC and WAC will review
package presented to BoS, and Spring groundwater level measurements.
Quarter
Three (Jul-Sep) TAC and WAC will review
Summer water level measurements.
Quarter Four
(Oct-Dec) TAC and WAC will review Fall groundwater level measurements. WAC
will begin structuring the BMO package to present to the BoS for the next
calendar year.
Currently
scheduled 2009 WAC meetings are:
January 22, February 19, April 23, September 24, November 26
January - Prepare annual
groundwater status report, and if necessary, DW&RC will meet with a
subcommittee of the WAC and TAC to complete BMOs for Sub-Inventory Units that
have not submitted their BMO package.
January 25, 2009 Meeting
of the WAC to revise and review 2009 BMOs
in each Sub-Inventory Unit as needed. Elect
new Chair and Vice Chair.
January
30, 2009 - Final date to submit 2009 BMOs.
February 2, 2009 Meeting of
the TAC to review the collective BMOs.
February 19, 2009 Meeting
of the WAC to approve and forward BMOs.
February 20, 2009 Groundwater
status report submitted to DW&RC by BBWUA.
February 23, 2009 - Agenda packets
with staff report to Water Commission.
March 2009 Spring groundwater
level measurements by DWR.
March 3, 2009 - Water Commission
presentation of 2009 BMOs for review.
April 7, 2009 - Board Transmittal
and Staff Report to County Administration .
April 7, 2009 Water Commission
approval of 2009 BMOs.
April 2009 - Meeting of the TAC to
review BMO compliance with spring groundwater levels and subsidence
measurements.
April 21, 2009 - Board of
Supervisors approves 2009 BMOs.
April 30, 2009 Meeting
of the WAC for briefing on spring BMO
Compliance.
July 2009 Early summer
groundwater level measurements by Butte County.
August, 2009 Annual
groundwater quality measurements.
August 2009 Late summer
groundwater level measurements by Butte County .
September 2009 Meeting of the
TAC to review 2009 BMO compliance with early and late summer groundwater level
and quality trend analysis measurements.
September 24, 2009 Meeting
of the WAC for briefing on early and late
summer BMO compliance. Begin
gathering stakeholder input for 2010 BMO packet.
October 2009 Fall groundwater
level measurements by DWR
November 2009 Meeting of the
TAC to review BMO compliance with fall groundwater levels measurements.
November 26, 2009 Meeting
of the WAC for briefing on the TACs
review of fall BMO compliance. Begin
compiling 2008 BMO packets.
Notes:
WAC meetings will typically be
scheduled on the fourth Thursday of the month at 2:00 PM when needed.
Water Commission meeting are scheduled the first Tuesday of the Month at 1:30 PM.
