BCSO Participates in National Coffee with a Cop Day

Oroville- (10/6/16)

On Friday, 10/7/16, several members of the Butte County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) will participate in Coffee with a Cop day. This is a great chance to learn more about BCSO, ask questions about public safety, or share concerns about what’s going on in your community.
This is the first National Coffee with a Cop day which was organized by the United States Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services. This innovative program was first started by the Hawthorne Police Department in 2011 to help break down barriers between the community and law enforcement.

Members of BCSO will be at three locations in Butte County from 8:00am-10:00am:

-Lots’ A Java, 116 Table Mountain Blvd, Oroville, CA 95965

-Dolly- O-Donuts, 14122 Skyway, Magalia, CA 95954

-Chatterbox Café, 2500 Durham-Dayton Hwy #2, Durham, CA 95938

Sheriff Honea will be having coffee at the Chatterbox Café in Durham. We hope to see you there!
