Oroville Wagon Wheel Market Burglary Suspect Arrested

Oroville, Ca--On 04-25-17, 05-04-17 and 05-09-17, during the early morning hours, Butte County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) deputies responded to the Wagon Wheel Market located at 4607 Olive Highway in Oroville for alarm calls. Deputies determined that the store had been burglarized on all three occasions. During the ensuing investigation, and with help from the community, deputies identified a local 15 year old juvenile as the subject responsible for these burglaries. It was also determined that juvenile was on probation for a previous burglary.
On the evening of 05-10-17, deputies conducted a probation search at the suspect’s home. The 15 year old juvenile was arrested and booked at the Butte County Juvenile Hall for three counts of commercial burglary and a felony probation violation.
