Road Closures - County Maintained Only
Butte County is divided into four Road Maintenance Districts by relative area (Paradise, Chico, Oroville, and Gridley).  Weather related road closures and warnings are posted from a list compiled by the Road Maintenance Division of the Butte County Department of Public Works.

This page is periodically updated during storm events during normal working hours (M-F 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM). This list is for County maintained roads only, and does NOT include any roads maintained by other municipalities

Roads may be flooded and not on this list due to localized conditions. While the Department makes every effort to provide accurate information, the Department is not responsible for any omissions that may occur.

Snow Removal Policy - Read about what areas are covered and the program for removing snow during storms.
Sand bag information - List of local sources for sand bags.
