Senior Health Improvement Program (SHIP)

The goal of the Senior Health Improvement Program (SHIP) is to promote and enhance healthy lifestyles among Butte County seniors.

Education
Our education programs promote preventative health care practices and encourage healthy behaviors among older adults in our community. Our Public Health team is available to work with you or your group to develop a presentation or screening on a variety of senior health topics such as:

Home Visiting
Our staff is able to assist seniors, 65 or older, who live in the Oroville area and have non-emergent needs. The senior or their caregiver should be able to participate in a plan for meeting the senior’s needs. Our SHIP staff can provide:
