TeenSMART Outreach Program

The TeenSMART Outreach Program is a community outreach program to youth 19 years and under, who are at high-risk for teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV/AIDS.

Activities include dissemination of information and education on risk-reduction for unplanned pregnancies, sexually transmitted diseases, sexual negotiation skills, reproductive health concerns, street outreach programs, counseling services and referral services to teen clinics for pregnancy or STD testing.

Q. Do I have to pay for TeenSMART services?

A. No, there is no charge for TeenSMART. Health Education staff will provide information about abstinence, peer pressure, risk-reduction for teen pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV/AIDS. Health Education staff can arrange for a pregnancy or STD test, if needed. For more information call (530) 895-6565.
