Whisper Ridge Golf Resort at Lake Oroville

The Whisper Ridge Golf Resort at Lake Oroville project was approved by the Butte County Board of Supervisors on April 23, 2013. Approval included a Rezone to Recreation Commercial Overlay, with a Conditional Zoning Agreement; a Conditional Use Permit for the golf course, hotel and wellness center; and two Lot Line Adjustment applications. In its action on the project, the Board of Supervisors certified a Final Environmental Impact Report consistent with the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act. 

There were a few minor revisions to the project site design after the above project approval that triggered a Minor Use Permit. This was approved by the Zoning Administrator on August 14, 2013. The applicant expects to be grading of the site for golf course construction in the spring of 2014.
