Approved fencing is constructed of durable fencing materials as permitted by the Butte County Zoning Code (24-60). Examples of approved fencing materials are wood and vinyl. Examples of non-approved fencing materials are, but not limited to: sheet metal, vehicles and/or parts, garage doors, aluminum siding, corrugated tin, plywood, OSB, and other materials not specially designed for use as fencing.
All marijuana grown outside of any building must be fully enclosed by a solid and opaque fence (of approved materials by the Department of Development Services) at least six (6) feet in height or a height sufficient to conceal the marijuana from view.
