Measure A Enforcement Begins - January 8, 2015

On January 8, 2015, Butte County anticipates beginning enforcement of Ordinance 4075, which amends the County's Restrictions on Cultivation of Medical Marijuana Ordinance (Chapter 34A). The oversight of this Ordinance is the responsibility of the Butte County Department of Development Services, Code Enforcement Division. View more information about Ordinance 4075.

Rio d'Oro Specific Plan Draft EIR Released

SMIP Fee Increase - July 1, 2014

Attention, The CA Department of Conservation who regulates the Strong Motion Instrumentation and Seismic Hazard Mapping fee (AKA: SMIP) have recently passed a bill (SB 861)signed into law by Governor Brown on June 20th , 2014 that there will be a fee increase . This is to inform you that this fee increase for building permits is effective July 1st, 2014 to provide for increased mapping of faults. The fee increase is explained in the attached document below.
