The Prosecution Bureau is responsible for implementing the policies of the District Attorney and as Chief Deputy District Attorney I oversee 23 attorneys that prosecute felonies, misdemeanors and juvenile cases.  Attorneys have reviewed almost 9000 requests for complaint as well as 850 juvenile requests for petitions to date.

Under the current Administration specialized prosecutions and assignments have been created to provide effective and prompt response to the needs of the citizens of Butte County.  The prosecution of all cases is guided by the District Attorney’s mission statement “To do justice, as no one is above the law, nor beneath its protection.”
