We serve any:
- custodial party;
- non-custodial parent; or
- other state agency providing services to one of those parties.
Families receiving public assistance in Butte County under Title IV-A (TANF/Cal Works), Title IV-E (Foster Care) or Title XIX (Medi-Cal) will have their case automatically referred to Child Support Services (CSS) and are required to cooperate in the effort to establish and enforce child support.

- To enroll visit Customer Connect online.
- Once you are enrolled, login to your account online at Customer Connect.
- Click the My Profile tab and select eDocuments to view, save, and print your child support documents.

The Child Support Application Process Goes Automated
Effective Tuesday, June 8, 2010, applications in progress, when completed, will be submitted electronically to the Local Child Support Agency (LCSA). Please do not mail-in or hand-deliver this application to a LCSA. To login visit the State Child Support website online.
Security Alert for California Electronic Pay Card (EPC) Users.
The California Department of Child Support Services (DCSS) has been alerted to mobile phone applications that may seek personal information from Electronic Pay Card users. Please be aware the Department currently does not use such applications, and instead makes available self-service options to our customers that are well-tested and safe to use. Phishing Scam Reported
It has been reported that a number of Parent/Party Receiving Support (PRS) have received phone calls from someone identifying themselves as being with the State Disbursement Unit and asking about their EPC cards. The caller references the SDU transition from Bank of America. The recipients of these calls are being asked to provide personal information. Never provide any personal information in response to anyone calling and requesting such information.
