Veterans Connect @ the library
In partnership with the California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet), the Butte County Library is pleased to help veterans and their families. Visit the Veterans Resource Station at the Chico Branch Library to learn about state and federal education, employment, housing, health, disability and other benefits that may be available to you and your family.

The Chico Branch Library is open 7 days a week (see Branch Hours).

A Veteran Volunteer is available to assist you during the following times:

Monday                    1:00-4:00 pm
Tuesday                   2:00-7:00 pm
Wednesday             1:00-7:00 pm
Thursday                  4:00-7:00 pm
Friday                        3:30-5:00 pm


Events & Programs

  • Student Veterans: Interested in helping other veterans?  The Butte County Library has VA Work-Study positions available at the Chico Branch Veteran Resources Station.
  • Bobbi Park, Sacramento Valley Local Interagency Network Coordinator (LINC), California Department of Veterans Affairs is coming to the Butte County Library Chico Branch at 1108 Sherman Ave on June 14th from 10am to 2:00pm. Come with your questions for Bobbi!
