September is Fine Amnesty Month

Welcome Back

Hi! I am so glad you are here and it is my great pleasure to welcome you back to your Butte County Library.

During the month of September, you may visit any branch of your Butte County Library to have any and all fines you may have accrued completely waived from your library account. The goal of fine amnesty month is to eliminate any barriers to accessing your library and to help reunite you with the programs, services, and collections we have to offer.

If you haven’t been here in a while you may see many changes in your local branch and find new resources and materials available online, including eBooks, eAudiobooks, and research databases. All staff are here to help you become reacquainted with everything your local library branch has to offer and show you how to use our many new features. Just ask! Below we have an FAQ and a link to what’s online for you.

Again - welcome back.
