Discretionary Funds – Information Session Are you interested in an information session where we would walk you through the process of how to apply for our Discretionary Funds? First 5 Butte County has allocated a percentage of annual revenue as a Discretionary Fund. Proposed projects are to be in mini-grants (up to $2,500), or mid-sized grants (one time, and up to $75,000). The purpose of these funds is to allow the Commission flexibility to consider and respond to needs and opportunities that arise during the budget year that are consistent with the goals as described in the Strategic Plan.
