Farmers Market

Farm fresh produce, friendly people and a variety of local craftsmen are just a few of the reasons to visit and enjoy the farmers' markets of Butte County. Certified farmers' markets offer the season's freshest assortments of fruits and vegetables, bouquets of garden-grown flowers, nuts and home houseplants and more. A diverse selection of local musicians and entertainers are also on hand to showcase their talents. Most markets also feature a variety of local food vendors serving up delicious fare from bread to barbecue.

If you would like to have a booth at any of these Farmer’s Markets first contact the market manager to check space availability and the requirements. Second you need to obtain a Certified Producer Certificate (CPC) from any of our offices. It must include a map of the growing grounds, a notarized lease (if applicable), and a list of the commodities grown including variety/type, amount, harvest season and estimated production. Site inspections will be conducted once a year to verify the location and the commodity list. The cost of this annual certificate is $60.00.

Submit or amend a Certified Farmer's Market application or Certified Producer's Certificate.
