CEQA Documentation

Prior to beginning any of the activities associated with the Tuscan Aquifer Investigation, the Department conducted an Initial Study under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).  A Mitigated Negative Declaration was prepared alongside the Initial Study to document the Department’s analysis.  Below you will find the links to the Initial Study with the Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND), the appendices to the declaration, the notice of intent (NOI) to adopt the IS/MND, and a field activity map that indicates the locations of project activities.
