Information for First Time Users

Your Fee Parcel and Assessment numbers are located in the upper left corner of your property tax bill. If you do not have a copy of your bill, you can obtain the number(s) by calling our office at 530-538-7701 or sending an e-mail request to taxes@buttecounty.net .

Accessing Your Online Tax Bill

To use the bill search feature, you must have one of the following:

Your 12 digit Assessment Number
Your 12 digit Fee Parcel Number
Your property address. If you own undeveloped land and do not yet have a specific property address, you will need to search by Assessment or Fee Parcel Number.
