Description of Project:
Scope of work consists of, but is not limited to, removal of: all waste tires estimated at 3600,
waste tires will be stock piled in a central location for loading into waste tire hauler trailers by CCC, 2
single wide mobilehomes, 7 vehicles, vehicle parts, appliances, household garbage, scrap metal and
other items of miscellanies debris. Replacement of approximately 200 feet of field fence, location to be
determined.
- Code Enforcement Officer will conduct a mandatory pre-bid walk through at the site
Monday October 10, 2011 at 10:00 am. Bids received from contractors that were not at
the mandatory walk through will not be considered. - All bids must be submitted by 3:00 PM on Thursday, October 27, 2011 to Butte County
Public Works at 7 County Center Drive Oroville CA 95965 and must be submitted in a
sealed envelope.
THIS RFQ IS INTENDED TO SOLICIT QUOTATIONS FOR A LOW DOLLAR VALUE PUBLIC WORKS TYPE
PROJECT SUCH AS REMODELING, PAINTING, PAVING, CARPETING OR CARPENTRY WORK. THE
CONTRACTUAL INSTRUMENT AWARDED TO THE SUCCESSFUL CONTRACTOR WILL BE THE SMALL
PROJECTS CONTRACT. ATTACHED TO AND INCORPORATED IN SMALL PROJECTS CONTRACT WILL
BE THE ATTACHED SMALL PROJECTS TERMS & CONDITIONS, INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS AND THE
ENCLOSED SCOPE OF WORK.
