The work, located near the intersection of State Route 99 and Southgate Avenue at the southerly edge of Chico City Limits, in general, involves: clearing, grubbing, grading, and constructing new roadway, including drainage system, curb, gutter, sidewalk, pedestrian ramps, and pavement improvements; removing sections of existing roadway, including curb, gutter and sidewalk; and installing signage, thermoplastic traffic stripes, thermoplastic pavement markings, and reflective pavement markers.
