Description of Project:

Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the Director of Public Works, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California, until 10:00 a.m. on May 8, 2012 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud for construction in accordance with the project specifications and plans to which special reference is made, as follows:

The work, located in the County of Butte south of the City of Oroville on Lincoln Boulevard consists of in general: implementation of construction traffic controls; saw-cutting of existing pavement; removal of existing concrete median curb, hard surfacing, fill and asphalt pavement roadway section; construction of tie-in asphalt pavement section and modifications to existing concrete pedestrian crosswalk; removal of existing pavement striping, pavement markings and raised markers; and installation of painted traffic striping, painted pavement markings, reflective pavement markers and traffic signage over an approximate project length of 0.17 miles.
