Public agencies and organizations in your area are partnering to identify and address regional flood management challenges and opportunities within the Mid and Upper Sacramento River basin (see map on reverse).
With input from their communities, these organizations will develop a Regional Flood Management Plan by mid-2015 that defines the long-term vision for flood risk reduction. The plan will include:
The plan will be designed to promote integrated regional flood management. It will also identify projects for future state and federal funding .
Don’t miss your chance to shape this important plan. Please join us at one of two kick-off meetings where we will introduce the plan development process and scope, and outline ways for you to be involved. Each meeting will feature an identical agenda and process. Please attend the meeting most convenient for you!
