The prioritization of requests is necessary to provide clear guidelines to staff on how to effectively manage the limited funding resources available by dealing with neighborhoods that have the highest determined priority rating first. At the beginning of each fiscal year, the top projects on the priority list will be selected for further study during that year, depending upon the availability of funding. Once the project is selected for study, staff will determine a neighborhood boundary to identify the limits of the analysis.
