SimplyE All-in-One E-Reader App Now Available for Butte County Library Patrons

The Butte County Library now offers access to more than 130,000 e-Resources through a free app called SimplyE with just a Library Card Number and PIN.

SimplyE is available in Google’s Play Store and Apple’s AppStore for download. Using SimplyE, community members can access the Library’s subscriptions for Axis 360, RBdigital, Enki Library and OverDrive (Libby), which allow patrons to download eBooks directly to a device.

To get started, readers can download the SimplyE app and add their library, and a world of eBook choices will be right at their fingertips to checkout, reserve and read. The user’s library card credentials will be asked at the time of the first checkout. If residents don’t have a library card, they can visit one of the Butte County Library branches to apply for one! SimplyE also offers its free open eBook collections, which do not require a library card.
