Oroville, CA - The deadline for filing many property tax exemptions was February 15, 2017. Due to the mass evacuations of Butte, Sutter and Yuba Counties, the State Board of Equalization extended the deadlines. The new deadline for filing these exemptions is March 27, 2017. The exemptions affect churches, hospitals, non-profit organizations, disabled veterans and homeowners among others.
