Many Butte County residents live in one of the five incorporated towns or cities: Biggs, Chico, Gridley, Oroville or Paradise. Butte County government provides services to residents through 23 diverse departments. Services include elections, road maintenance, public safety, solid waste disposal, and health and human services to name a few.

Re-Elected County Supervisors to be Sworn In

Oroville, CA – Butte County officials announced today that they will host a swearing in ceremony for the re-elected county supervisors on January 10, 2017, at 9:00 am at the Board of Supervisors Chambers, 25 County Center Drive, Oroville. The public is invited to attend this ceremony, the regular scheduled Board of Supervisors meeting will begin at 10:00 am. 

The three elected officials who will take office for the next four years are: 

Bill Connelly County Supervisor District 1
Steve Lambert County Supervisor District 4
Doug Teeter County Supervisor District 5 

The oath of office will be administered by Candace Grubbs, County Clerk-Recorder.
