PROPERTY TAXES ARE DUE APRIL 10, 2020

 

Oroville, Calif.—Property taxes are due April 10, 2020. In an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19, Butte County Treasurer Tax Collector’s Office encourages taxpayers to make tax payments online, or by check or money order.

 

Check and money order payments can be mailed to 25 County Center Drive, Suite 125, Oroville 95965, with a postmark date on or before April 10, 2020. Check and money order payments can also be submitted using the drop box located outside the South entrance of 25 County Center Drive in Oroville. Cash payments are accepted by appointment only.

 

To book an appointment to make a cash payment prior to April 10th, please call 530.552.3740 between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. When making cash payments, please adhere to social distancing requirements. The use of cloth face coverings is encouraged. Efforts are being made to keep employees and residents safe; however, alternative payment methods are strongly recommended.
