Butte County Communications

Communications support County Departmental needs for phone, cell and pager service. We interact with departments and secure services through negotiated contracts with various vendors. We supply both the service and order equipment.

Our Radio shop installs and maintains radio infrastructure supporting radio users of various County departments, including County Sheriff and Fire.

911 Coordinator responsibilities for Butte County is an important part the Communications Department. We provide support to all Public Safety Answering Points in the Butte Operational Area. In addition the 911 Coordinator is the 911 Northern California Wireless Coordinator as well.

Communications counts it a privilege to support both County Government and the citizens of Butte County by supporting communications in day-to-day County Government and in times of Emergency.
